Born on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Nashville, Tennessee as a teenager Plumridge has been drawing, painting, and designing clothing since childhood.  Having learned how to knit when she was eleven years old it has been something she has been passionate about for over a decade.  While living in Nashville she learned how to sew from an incredible seamstress whom Plumridge interned with for a number of years until going off to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. While studying in the fashion department, she interned for Sarah Baadarni in London before graduating in 2012.

Plumridge is a working artist, designer and educator.  Through her work she explores themes of family and nostalgia. Currently Plumridge is studying Secondary Education for Visual Arts at DePaul University and will receive her Masters Degree in Spring 2017.
